Profile

MASANORI OISHI was born in Japan in 1977. First he studied saxophone at Tokyo National University of fine arts and music with Nobuya Sugawa. After the " Mentin Très bien" at 3 classes, Saxophone , Chamber music and Improvisation at the Conservatoire Nationale Superieur de Musique de Paris with Claude Delangle, he started to play to audience classical music, contemporary music and its borders.
Concert-activities as soloist and with chamber groups brought him to festivals for example in France, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Niger, China etc...
Since April 2008 he has been teaching at the Toho college of music in Tokyo.
