Jagdish Mistry

Born 1963 in Mumbai, India, Jagdish Mistry moved to England in 1975 to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School. He then continued his studies at the Guildhall School in London.
He continued his career as a soloist, performing with a number of renowned orchestras. Mistry has been a member of the Ensemble Modern since 1994. He regularly performs as a guest concertmaster with various symphony and chamber orchestras in Great Britain and Spain. Mistry plays on a J.B. Vuillaume violin, constructed in Paris in 1853.
