Born 1981 in Okinawa, Japan. He received BA in Studio Art from The City College of New York. He lives and works in Tokyo. His solo shows include: "Brief Procedures" at Daniel Reich Gallery, NY (2006); "American Boyfriend: Bodies of Water" at Kyoto City University of the Arts Gallery, Kyoto (2014). Group shows include: "Time of Others" at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, The National Museum of Art Osaka, Singapore Art Museum, Queensland Art Gallery in Australia (2015-16); "Roppongi Crossing 2016" at Mori Art Museum, Tokyo (2016). He was selected as a finalist for Nissan Art Award 2015. His first novel "America no Fukei (Scenes from America)" was published on "Bungei" magazine in April 2017, and second novel will be published in July 2017.
