Director and writer, I was born in Gioia del Colle, a small southern Italian town. Throughout my career I have continued to train with a range of Italian and internationals artists. I was an actress with Koreja Theatre (Lecce, Italy), assistant director to Marco Martinelli and developed an early interest in music theatre, writing and performing Medea - Opera senza canto (lit. trad.: Opera without Song), a music theatre piece composed by Giovanni Tamborrino.
I have been working with Kismet OperA Theatre (Bari, Italy) for over seventeen years, were I am one of the four permanent directors, also involved in project about social theatre. My productions have been acclaimed in Japan, Australia and throughout Europe.
About my most recent works I would like to remember: director of The Swineherd Prince, an opera by Nino Rota, prod. Fondazione Petruzzelli and Conservatory of Music "Niccolò Piccinni" of Bari (Italy, 2007); director of the concert-theatre piece In Search of Simurgh in collaboration with Radiodervish (Bari, Italy, 2007); director of Elia, contemporary opera by Tamborrino, prod. Fondazione Petruzzelli of Bari (Italy, 2008); director and narrator of The Legend of Saint Cecilia, by Chausson, prod. Collegium Musicum (Bari, Italy, 2008); writer and director of Molière's the Hypochondriac, Kismet OperA Theatre (Bari, Italy) prod.
