Mauricio Novelo Jarque is a filmmaker specializing in documentaries. He studied visual arts, photography, script writing for films and fi lmmaking. He has worked on various documentary projects as director and photographer in southeast Mexico (Oaxaca, Tabasco, Chiapas), Spain and Japan. He will complete a documentary that speaks of contemporary Japan from the perspective of 5 different Japanese artists: Tadao Ando, Naoya Hatakeyama, Katsushige Nakahashi, Makoto Aida and Kenji Yanobe.
