Anne Holtrop (1977, NL) graduated cum laude from the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam in 2005. Holtrop has been working as an independent architect since March 2005. In addition he is a guest lecturer and visiting critic at the Academies of Architecture in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and is an editor for OASE, an independent journal for architecture. For his work he received twice a grant from the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture (known in the Netherlands as Fonds BKVB). In 2008 he received the Charlotte Köhler Prize for architecture from the Prince Bernhard Culture Fund.
About works / performance

My work consists of architectural projects. These can be conceptual, temporary, or permanent. Examples are the floating houses fully covered with plants to create a landscape in the Floating Gardens project and the curling and bending house as a path in the Trail House project.
