Profile

Born in Hanoi in 1996. Lives and works in Ho Chi Minh city. Thái Hà is a curator and writer, which is to say, of both these roles, a translator. Exploring speculative world-building and post-apocalypse aesthetics, Hà's work experiments with the instability of exhibition- and text-making.

Hà is co-curator of the Uzbekistan pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale, and has held curatorial roles at Nguyễn Art Foundation and Galerie Quynh, both in Ho Chi Minh City.

About curation

Her recent curatorial projects, writings and translations have been presented in various museums, cultural institutions, and biennials, such as the Tate St Ives, Barbican Centre, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, 58th Carnegie International, 2021 Asian Art Biennial, Sàn Art, and Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL), among others.

Her work has been covered by Frieze, Artforum, Cultbytes, and Al Jazeera.
