Profile

Born in 1981 in Kelheim, Germany. Lives and works in Cologne. Graduated with MA in History of Art / Comparative Literature from Johann-Wolfgang_Goethe University, Frankfurt in 2009.
Art Historian and researcher, with a background in curating. Founder of the nomadic exhibition project Hospitality, and currently researcher for artist Rosemarie Trockel. Interest in process-based and collaborative practices, the relation between private and public space and their political impacts.

About curatorial activities

Artist-oriented practice as a researcher and art historian, with a strong interest in collaborative and process based artistic activity. With a background in curating and literature. Works for the archive of German artist Rosemarie Trockel. As founder of the nomadic curatorial project Hospitality, in search of exhibition formats, that are based on the basic principle of hosting. The project realized flexible and temporary forms of fluid exhibitions in several (domestic) spaces. The term Hospitality functions as an invitation and basic ethic of work related to artistic production and embraces a collaborative approach. Hospitality used the backdrop of living, intimate spaces to discuss what is considered as private and/or public.
