Nelson CRESPO

Profile

Born in 1975.　Graduated from Bachelor in Fine Arts at Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Caldas da Rainha, Portugal and MA Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts, London. Recent main activities are solo exhibitions "Eden" (House of A.Sauvage, London, UK, 2012) and "Restless: nothing stays the same" (Kunstverein Ahlen, Munster, Germany, 2011), group exhibitions "Bridges" (Fold Gallery, London, UK, 2012), "Instalação Sonora" (Paço da Artes, São Paulo, Brazil, 2010), "Cafe Portugal" curated by Flilipa Oliveira (Design Factory, Bratislava, Slovakia and Museu Carlos Machado, Ponta Delgada, Portugal, 2009). In 2005 he was selected for the Graduate Prize Bloomberg New Contemporaries in the UK　and　he  has received awards from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, Foundation Orient, Lisbon and Grants for the Arts, British Council, UK.
