A founding partner of Archives & Museum Informatics in Toronto, David Bearman consults for cultural institutions on information strategy. Since leaving the Smithsonian Institution, he has directed his own consult ing fi rm which specializes in developing business models for archive and museum consortia. He has been responsible for guiding the development of policies towards electronic records management in several countries, national and international museum collaborations and network initiiatives.
