Profile
In 1999, residency at the Villa Médici (Rome). Works has been exhibited internationally including at: Whitney Biennial 2006 (New York), Art-Basel Miami Beach (Miami), MACBA (Barcelona), Museu Berardo (Lisbon), Walker Art Center (Minneapolis), 2009 Marrakech Biennial. In parallel, I work in theatre, opera and dance creating sets and lighting for projects in Europe, the US and in Asia. Since 2006, I set up an architectural practice with my brother, Cyrille Berger under the name Berger&Berger. We were in residency at Cent Quatre (Paris) between 2008 and 2009. In 2011, we will deliver the extension of the Centre International d'art et du Paysage de l'Ile de Vassivière (Limousin).About works / performance
The project "Une île paradisiaque est un spectacle artificiel" at Cent Quatre is the creation of a series of pavillons questioning the intimate dimension in the public space of the institution. (see picture "Dr Jekyll"). For the 2009 Marrakech Biennial I produced, with the artist Julien Fisera, a series of performances challenging the universal and immaterial heritage of the Jemaa El-Fna Square.

Using working methods drawn from architecture and scenic art, I confront relationships between audience, time and space. By melding genres, my work proposes various systems of representation of perception and reinvents the rules of exhibition and presentation each time, through installations, sculptures, architecture, performance, video, photography, books and graphics.
