The work “6steps” (comprising a six-step stairway, choreography and a stage set) is installed at the TOKAS Hongo building. Also exhibited are choreographic notes and instructions for performing “6steps,” to encourage visitors to work out their own dance up and down the stairs, based on their own interpretation. They may also find Kimura Reina, who conceived and choreographed “6steps,” dancing at the venue, either alone or together with someone else. The work can thus be enjoyed as an immediate experience, or observed at a distance.
