Following a lecture introducing the activities of Access Point: Architecture-Tokyo, WADA Nahoko will lead a tour of historic architecture in the Hongo area of the Bunkyo ward, beginning with the TOKAS Hongo building, which was completed in 1928. The tour will focus on visiting architecture constructed in the period lasting from the end of the Taisho period to the beginning of the Showa period, including Motomachi Park (1930), which was designed as a part of reconstruction following the Great Kanto Earthquake, and the Yumicho Hongo Church (1925).
