contact Gonzo
Formed in 2006 by Kakio Yu and Tsukahara Yuya. Chasing the idyllic sublime characteristic of the moment when flesh collides, the group is engaged in improvised performance pieces as well as creating video and photographic works and editing magazines. contact Gonzo is simultaneously the group's name as well as the title of the methodology they espouse. Present members include Tsukahara Yuya, Mikajiri Keigo, Matsumi Takuya, and NAZE. Each member also pursues their own works in their own respective fields.

Artist. Born in 1984 in Kanagawa. Graduated with an MA in Information design from Tama Art University. Explores the physicality of the human body and the autonomy of expression through works that entrust actions to autonomous devices.
