The theater group "ABSOLUTE" was founded by Tomoco Kawaguchi (Theatre Director/Tokyo) and Cheuk Cheung (Film Director/Hong Kong) in 2013. They initiated the long-term project "Absolute Airplane" which is not only a theatre production, furthermore, it is about setting up a cross-cultural exchange network, in stimulating creativity and idea exchange between young artists of the involved cities in Asia. Almost 30 cross-cultural and cross-discipline artists, including contemporary and traditional artists joined their creative workshops and collaborations.
