Masamitsu Araki "Acoustic Device−Five movements for the noise"

I created an art work about "noise problems" in 2015. By researching the meaning and usage of the word on the Internet, I found there were many ideas of "noise problems" scattered such as complaints, unfocused definition and criterion etc. Then, I tried to represent "noise problem" as "voices that have nowhere to go"; by sometimes yelling from speakers attached on vehicle, the other time whispering secretly. These voices were brought into a sound installation that invites audience to vicarious experiences again and again. For this project, I would like to try to create a space with recorded sound and voices, detaching from their original contexts, and the place tries to offer chances to be listened to wandering sounds.
