This two-term exhibition showcases six groups of international and local creators who participated in TWS Residency Programs in recent years. What all six groups have in common in their works is the fact that they routinely use things that are closely linked to their everyday lives.
The exhibition [Part 1] features Nobuko Tsuchiya, Yuri Suzuki and Jr-Shin Luo (Taiwan) who participated in TWS Residency Programs and stayed in Seoul, Stockholm or Tokyo in recent years. As each creator comes into contact with the culture of their place of residence and experiences daily life there, they develop new vantage points that give rise to another form of daily life and created works during their residencies. In addition, all creators will show new works for this exhibition in particular focusing on their development or influence after their experiences of the residencies. During the exhibition, the creators will appear at the gallery talks and the workshops with environmental sound and daily objects.
