Film and sound video-themed workshop with an artist as instructor

For the Summer Kids Workshop in 2026, TOKAS welcomes artist Shiga Kota as the instructor who created a program based on the theme of sound and video.
Every day people are watching “videos” on television and their smart phones. But perhaps we should also ask how these videos are created. In this workshop, by separating video images that have been filmed and the sound that has been recorded into separate elements, and by experimenting with new combinations of the two, we can thus reveal new elements of the fascinating aspects of filmed images.
