Tokyo Contemporary Art Award 2020-2022 Exhibition
The dialogue between Fujii Hikaru and Kitahara Megumi will be held on 6/12(Sun). By having a guest Kitahara Megumi, who researches art history with perspectives of gender, race and postcolonialism, they will reconsider the concept of “war paintings” exhibited at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in 1946, shown only for the Allied occupation forces personnel.
