The phase one exhibition has been successfully held in October 2019 at TOKAS Hongo, Tokyo, Japan, featured 6 artists/artist units from Japan and Hong Kong showcasing their construct of space in the form of media art to articulate his or her vision of ‘false space’.

Following the open discussion held in Tokyo, participating artists ITO Ryusuke, NAGATA Kosuke, NG Tsz-Kwan, Stella SO, TSUDA Michiko, WARE, exhibition curator IP Yuk-Yiu and HATANAKA Minoru (Chief curator, NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC]) will join the the exchange forum in Hong Kong Arts Centre, continue the discussion on artists’ production of space and their pursuit to express their own world views.

During the forum, an exhibition catalogue newly published by TOKAS will also be launched in Hong Kong, to provide Hong Kong audience a thorough documentation of the artists’ creation and concept. Furthermore, a VR exhibition will also be showcased before the exchange forum. Displaying the exhibition with new media, visitor can freely navigate in the virtual 3-storey exhibition space, breaking the spatial limitation with technology.
