Berliner Philharmoniker Workshop

Four members from the Berliner Philharmoniker, Madeleine Carruzzo (violin), Aleksandar Ivic (second violin), Micha Afkham (viola), Richard Carruzzo (cello),  are invited as the tutor of the music workshop. This workshop is for a range of children from infants through to junior high scholl students. Instead of just talking to the children, the musicians will give performances as a quartet and as duos and encourage cultural exchange through the mediums of art and music. Using their voices and percussion instruments, the children can make music together with these four members of the orchestra, and learn how to feel music with their entire bodies through dance. This program is going to be the part of the "RHYTHM IS IT!", a film which documents the educational project of Belin Pjilharmoniker directed by Sir. Simon Rattle.
